- January 12, 2005 - Florida
selects 3B Scott Rolen as their #1 draft choice
(11th overall) in the 2005 Dispersal Draft.

Slow-Players play their first game and defeat the Baltimore Stars, 1-0 (12
innings) at home.
- In 2005, the Slow-Players finished

- February 16, 2007 - owner Michael Geles re-names team the Florida Invaders.
