Joey Votto connected with a 'big fly' and had 3 RBI as the NL Future Stars
beat the AL Future Stars by a score of 8 to 2.

NL Future brought 4 runs across the plate in the top of the 3rd inning when
they had 3 base hits.  The big moment was provided by Hunter Pence who
disappointed the partisan crowd when he blasted a two-run home run (his 1st
of the season).  NL Future had 13 hits for the afternoon while AL Future had
5.

The win went to Philip Hughes(1-0) who allowed 1 run in 1 inning. The loss was
charged to Luke Hochevar(0-1) in relief.  He allowed 3 homeruns in 1 inning
of work.
